There's a narrow window before standing water starts causing secondary damage. Our Water Extraction process is built entirely around closing that window as fast as possible.

We measure extraction success with a moisture meter, not a visual check, because a floor can look dry on top while the material underneath is still saturated.
We'd rather explain the water extraction process in plain terms upfront than have you find out the hard way what a shortcut costs later.
We built this list around what typically goes wrong when water extraction gets handled by a generalist rather than a specialist.
Ask for credentials before the work starts, not after — a legitimate water extraction specialist will have them ready.
Truck-mount power means faster removal on carpet, pad, and hard flooring alike.
We don't call extraction complete until the meter confirms it.
Local staging is the difference between a 20-minute wait and a two-hour one.
You get a written quote before extraction starts, based on the actual scope of the loss.
We don't treat water extraction as a single generic task — each part of the process below gets its own specific approach.
We clear bulk water fast, then move into detailed extraction of carpet, pad, and subfloor.
Specialized extraction wands lift water from between hardwood boards without forcing more moisture underneath.
We weigh carpet before and after extraction on larger jobs to confirm moisture removal.
We adjust extraction time and equipment placement based on how porous the slab surface is.
Furniture and upholstered items get assessed and extracted on-site when salvageable.
A final moisture meter pass confirms extraction actually reached target levels before we leave.
This is the same sequence every water extraction job follows, regardless of size.
Dispatch gathers just enough detail to load the right equipment before the truck leaves.
Crews staged locally get to your address quickly, equipment already loaded for Water Extraction work.
You approve the number before equipment turns on — no surprise invoice after the fact.
We stand behind the result with a documented sign-off, not just a verbal assurance.
"The moisture meter readings gave me confidence the job was actually done right."
Grace T., Chesterfield"Our office carpet flooded overnight and extraction was complete before staff arrived for the morning shift."
Nathaniel W., Chesterfield"No surprise charges — the quote matched the invoice exactly."
Bianca H., Chesterfield"The flat-rate quote held even though the job ran a little longer than expected."
Corinne W., Chesterfield"Extraction from a tricky corner behind built-in cabinetry was handled without damaging the cabinets themselves."
Julian V., ChesterfieldThese are the questions we hear most often about water extraction, gathered from real calls, not a generic template list.
Aqua Guard Water Damage dispatches water extraction crews throughout Chesterfield and the surrounding zip codes, including 29709.
Coverage extends past the immediate area, so an outlying Chesterfield address isn't treated as a lower priority for water extraction.
